Janell Sloan

Janell started her work career early working in her parent’s family house painting business. Janell and her two sisters learned from an early age all about hard work and work ethics. After retiring from the painting business Janell earned her stripes working for a software company in Austin as a software technical support specialist. In 2005 Janell hung up her software support skills and Joined her husband David at Clone Yourself Lawncare & Landscaping. At Clone Yourself Janell’s duties not only include being sales manager and accounting specialist but also include working in the field. On any given day you might find her repairing irrigation, mowing lawns, carrying a backpack blower on her back. At work she is known for being in charge and on top of things. She is most definitely the hardest worker at Clone Yourself.

David Sloan

David’s background is as varied as Janell minus his experience painting custom homes. David’s beginning starts in his hometown of Port Arthur Texas. After graduating from Lamar University with a degree in Industrial Electrical Engineering he moved to Austin in the early 1980’s. David spent the next 25 years in the computer industry working with telephone systems, component level repair, computer repair and network support. After David’s years in the computer field he decided he wanted to work outside doing something he enjoyed. His vision started as owning a lawn care company and helping people with their lawncare and landscaping. Over the years the business grew to include irrigation, fence repair and personal concierge service. Lucky for David he has had the support of his wife not only since the beginning of Clone Yourself but in the past 33 years of marriage.
